Cousins From Afar is the first collaboration between Steve Wade, world guitar and Colin MacLeod, Celtic fiddle.
The tunes are Celtic in flavour with a hint of country lilt.
As a title, Cousins From Afar could be the bringing together of different instruments or musicians from different sides of the world getting together to produce this album.
The CD Roaming Free is Colin MacLeod and Rory Sinclair's first collaboration.
Colin and Rory were both across in Australia and just happened to be at the National Folk Festival in Canberra in 2004.
This started the friendship and musical collaboration.
Roaming Free was recorded in 2005 and the playing from both Colin and Rory has a distinct vitality and energy to it.
If you are across in Scotland in September of each year, be sure to check out the Resipole Fiddle Fest (www.resipolefiddlefest.co.uk)
Resipole is at the top of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula in Argyll and hosts some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.
Colin, Rory and Rory's partner Karin are the founding members of the Resipole Fiddle Fest.

The set of music have been recorded by myself and fellow musicians from Scotland and Australia.
These musicians include Rory Sinclair from Scotland and Steve Wade, formerly of the Little River Band, from Australia.
