The first tune, Pipe Major Donald MacLean of Lewis, is a favourite with Scottish ceilidh goers in Scotland and Australia.

The second tune, Farewell To The Creeks, was written by Pipe Major James Pipe Robertson of Boyne, Banffshire, in 1915 when he was a prisoner of war in Germany.

It is also the tune used by Hamish Henderson for the Banks Of Sicily.
