🎻 Connecting our Islands of Inspiration — between in‑person fiddle workshops
On Saturday, November 1st, we held a Play By Ear Scottish Fiddle Immersion Workshop in San Antonio, featuring Colin MacLeod alongside a wonderful local fiddler/violinist. Following the workshop, everyone who participated joined together for a joyful “Splash Mob”, sharing tunes at two or three locations along the San Antonio Riverwalk.
We are preparing another in‑person fiddle workshop for April next year. Until then, we are offering something special to keep everyone connected, learning, and inspired:
Celtic Music Jam Sessions — Online
These weekly online sessions are designed to maintain momentum between our in‑person gatherings — what we call our "Islands of Inspiration." Whether you joined us in San Antonio or are new to the community, these sessions are a welcoming way to stay engaged, grow your repertoire, and build confidence playing by ear.
Program Details
Format: Online group Celtic Music Jam Sessions
Length: Rolling monthly enrolment, bridging to the next in‑person workshop
Sessions: 2 × 90‑minute sessions per month
Teachers: 2 co‑leading teachers
Group Size: Minimum 10 · Maximum 15 students
Level: Youth / school‑age players; adults welcome
Approach: Learn by ear, shared repertoire, group flow, supportive musical community

One Clear Monthly Price
- $175 per student, per month
- 2 × 90‑minute live online group sessions (3 hours total)
- 2 experienced teachers co‑leading each session
- Minimum 10 / Maximum 15 students per group
- Learn‑by‑ear Celtic repertoire with guided repetition
