Scotland by Ear is not a travel webinar or a history lecture.
It’s a guided cultural experience — shaped like a journey rather than a course.
Each week, we travel to a different part of Scotland, listening for how:
- music reflects landscape
- history shapes daily life
- place influences rhythm, language, and community
All held in a relaxed, welcoming online space, with time for reflection and conversation.
This experience is designed primarily for adults who:
- Feel drawn to Scotland
- Enjoy music, history, and storytelling
- Are planning (or dreaming of) a future visit
- Prefer depth over speed and meaning over checklists
(Suitable for older teens and homeschooling families who enjoy adult-level discussion.)
12 live Zoom sessions (75–90 minutes each)
Full access to session recordings
Visual resources and curated listening
Live Scottish fiddle music
Optional Q&A and discussion
Access to the evergreen version of the course
Participants may add a 1-hour personal consultation to:
design a Scotland itinerary aligned with their interests
discover music, regions, and experiences beyond the guidebooks
plan a slower, more meaningful visit
Add-on: $97
