The idea

What are online Celtic jam sessions?

They recreate the spirit of a traditional Irish or Scottish session — with the added benefit of guidance, structure and accessibility. Each session blends:

  • Learning tunes by ear
  • Understanding rhythm and phrasing
  • Playing together in real time
  • Building confidence to join in-person sessions

You don't need to be a virtuoso — just curious, open and ready to play.

  • Take breaks

There's no pressure to perform — the goal is shared music-making and steady growth.
