We're almost halfway through June and getting closer to the longest day of the year.
In Edinburgh, a great place to view the rising and setting of the sun on June 21st is Calton Hill.
If you are in the area, there is the chance to take some beautiful photos of the surrounding area.

Mississippi Renaissance Festival: 14th - 16th October 2022, Gulf Coast, USA

Now, this is a very special event, being the first Renaissance Festival in the area for a number of years.
The Renaissance Festival focuses on a period in the early 1300s and Scotland, England, the Vikings and the Pirates will all be involved in the event!

Salado Highland Games: 11th - 13th November 2022, TX, USA

The Salado Highland Games in Texas have been going for a number of years and had their first Highland games last November after the coronavirus pandemic.
One of the events to celebrate the opening of the Highland Games is a torchlit procession on the Friday evening. I am looking forward to participating in this procession!
